When meeting other members informally, always choose public, fenced dog parks. Ensure your Dachshund is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and is wearing proper ID tags. Never leave dogs unsupervised, and always ask before allowing dogs to greet — even friendly doxies can have bad days.
